TeamGantt is effortless project planning and collaboration. Intuitive, beautiful gantt charts combined with task level communication and file sharing.

TeamGantt is a cloud-based Gantt chart and project planning solution for small, midsize and large enterprises. It offers project collaboration tools such as collaborative Gantt charts, time tracking, file sharing and task-level communication features.
TeamGantt’s Gantt charts feature a drag-and-drop option that allows users to create tasks by dragging over dates in a calendar. Users can see what each team member is working on and how many tasks are assigned to each team member daily.
In TeamGantt, users can comment on any task and keep their chats within the tasks. Documents can also be attached to any task. Users can filter the tasks by due date and who they are assigned to, and they can convert Gantt charts into PDFs.
What do you like best about TeamGantt?

The ability to easily assign tasks (in my case (trucks) to routes on certain days and assign drivers to those tasks (loads). It’s effortless for everyone in my company to see what is going with every shipments.

It is straightforward to use with the click and drag feature and has been invaluable in allowing me to plan projects ahead of time and work collaboratively with colleagues. I have become more organized as a result. In addition, the ability to watch videos at a faster speed is great.

There are quite a good number of features that I love in TeamGantt.

1) The drag feature for the timeline bar is the most frequently used one. It is so simple to use.

2) The allotment of team members to a particular task with hours assigned against them.

3) Indentation of tasks under each group of tasks. This is a great way of maintaining a hierarchy of activities in the project.

What do you dislike about TeamGantt?

When I have to move multiple timeline bars from one place to another in the Gantt chart; it does not allow me to move it to a place where I want to drop the timeline bars.

No real issues so far to note. Everything is working smoothly for me so far.

I wish there was a way to make the calendar a little bigger so that it was easier to see the distinction between days. Maybe a weekly version would be helpful.

Not much not to like but I hope it gets integrated with ERP software.

Would like to be able to view all members of a department as the main heading with their respective projects under their names. This is company-specific though, as our team members are the most important heading rather than the project title.

What problems is TeamGantt solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is much easier to assign custom work between members of the design team as it is easy to see who has the most capacity at a glance. Being able to track the stages of a project through the design process is also helpful in seeing where there may be too much pressure in one phase. For example, we can now space out when designers move into prototyping phases, and schedule product shoots and launch dates so that they do not overlap and create strain on other departments. The record-keeping and timelines also help set benchmarks and track performance.

Most importantly: I track my team’s workload. Other things: I track project progress; clears up the mind to see what’s critical, it’s a great coordination tool also, the team is looking on same page when it comes to project management.

One of the best features of TeamGantt is that I can create an embedded URL of my project and share it with the stakeholders in my projects. They can view the live project schedule anytime by bookmarking it on their browsers. Since it a web applications; any updates I do to my project schedule are immediately updated for all the stakeholders who have access to the schedule.

It is excellent for managing projects which have multiple steps and interdependencies. Specifically, I am a Ph.D. student in a lab, which has helped me plan and organize experiments immensely. Being able to more clearly see the key steps in a project and interdependencies has improved my time management and productivity.

TeamGantt Features

Pros

  • “TeamGantt is perfect for the team who wants to d basic resourcing of teams or freelancers and track projects primarily through a Gantt view.”
  • “It is fast and responsive. It shows a simple snapshot, yet is rich in features once you get under the surface.”

Cons

  • “Resizing the charts is a pain and you can’t even resize the tasks column. The way projects are listed in the left panel is also very difficult to read and navigate.”
  • “When you have several projects with a lot of tasks it becomes hard to navigate. Collapsable menus sometimes make me miss a task because it’s not displayed on the chart when it’s collapsed.”
  • “It is also confusing how to invite and collaborate with other team members.”
  • “It didn’t recognize all the same categories so we had to input some stuff manually. Finally, their mobile app is basically useless.”
