What do you like best?

I think the most helpful part about Lytho is that all the requisite information is in one place. The overall project has separate and specific tasks. There is an easy way to contact/tag other project members so they can see all the information at once instead of just an email with a vague overview.

I really like being able to use the campaign feature. Being able to organize select projects for a specific campaign so that the copy and creative can be cohesive really helps save time and money.

The intake process (custom form), task creation inside a project, and the proofing process. These features are easy to use and significantly contribute to efficient time and project management. No more herding cats to track down proof sign-off or wondering what step is next in the process. Lytho takes care of all this for you!

Lytho has been a game changer for our marketing and communications department. We were working with manila folders, hardcopies and emailing PDFs. Now our entire work flow is completely online. The system enables our team to work remotely with ease. All feedback, communication, files, and invoicing is now contained in each electronic project. The ease of use for our team and our departmental users is seamless and easy!

What do you dislike?

The only downside is getting users to adopt the change for them. One they use it a few time, they love it!

The tool is highly robust and can do many things that may not affect your company or your process and may seem overwhelming. However, working with your dedicated Lytho contact can ensure you become comfortable with the platform and only use what tools work for you best.

I think the only downside of using the system is that there is so much to learn. You can do pretty much anything and everything that is desired, but you have to be willing to research how to do it. I felt like it was great training, but still so much to learn even after being in the system for a year.

I don’t like how the dashboard is set up so that you see just the latest individual task. I would prefer to have the ability to go to a project straight from the dashboard instead of to the individual task. The task doesn’t contain all the project information for that task.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

The hardest part of pulling together the separate people within a project is getting everyone to understand the end goal. Lytho gives us the entire scope of the project in one place. This benefits me because I merely need to tag someone within the task and they can figure out what is going on. I don’t need to send an extensive, descriptive email to each project member for each task.

One of our biggest concerns was how to keep select projects cohesive with copy and creative. Our company separates internet and print needs, so it was challenging to make sure everything matched. With Lytho we can almost guarantee that everything will flow together.

Lytho is solving our project management and materials sign-off process. It allows each user to have a custom view of what projects they are in charge of and allows a collaborative and SINGLE SOURCE for proofing. ALL Comments, all changes, all time stamped by stake-holders ensuring confidence in the designer the piece is good to go.

  • “Unless there was a setting somewhere I missed, it did not sync with my mobile device which is where I primarily check email.”
  • “Other programs will have drop down menus or columns with all it’s pre-filtered lists labeled for you. InMotion does not have that feature at first glance.”
  • “The only downside is the need to submit a service ticket when adding or changing request forms. Having more autonomy over this feature has been requested.”
  • “The only thing I don’t like about Ignite (and I’ve heard this complaint from a number of sales reps) is not being able to review a proof using a cell phone.”
